From the Romanian Nightmare to the American Dream, Andre Popa landed on American soil in 1979 with his family. First night…Motel 6 and Fig Newtons. By the age of 30 he had been exposed to the entrepreneurial world of business in various industries—the most exciting and challenging of all was a European restaurant in Hollywood, CA, at the age of 26, that sat 210 people. Other avenues brought him to the business worlds of the beauty/salon industry, import/export, garment industry, children’s vitamins, interior design, construction and real estate investing…Once he met his match, his wife and business partner forever after, Tami, a very successful design and construction firm was built. Dealing with celebrity and affluent clientele, the glamour was most exciting, yet the stress of small business took its toll. In June of 2006, Tami and Andre Popa met their match— Nouveau Riche University—a serious business with a lot of fun mixed in and the opportunity to change lives! They are now full-time marketers, students and investors, serving as INSAs for the Central California Territory!

Early on, Nouveau Riche Independent National Senior Advisor Tami Popa had a burning desire to achieve a better lifestyle. At the age of 18, she bought a franchise business with her mother and learned key information about business and systems. By 19, she was producing over $10k per month through marketing and networking with other business owners. In 2000, she met her husband Andre, her Nouveau Riche partner and an Independent National Senior Advisor. The couple spent 7 years building and running a South Bay design and construction firm while simultaneously leveraging the real estate market, building and remodeling homes and becoming successful real estate investors. When Tami came across Nouveau Riche over a year ago, she described the business model as “one of the best systems in place I have ever seen.” This discovery enabled her and her husband to walk away from their multi-million dollar design and construction firm to achieve the freedom and lifestyle of their dreams. Now, a wife, mother of 2 and Nouveau Riche leader, Tami is able to spend the time she desires with her family and teach others how to create wealth and freedom.
