As the saying goes, “the rest is history”….he now enjoys tremendous success and owns two properties. From the Romanian Nightmare to the American Dream, Andre Popa landed on American soil in 1979 with his family. First night…Motel 6 and Fig Newtons. By the age of 30 he had been exposed to the entrepreneurial world of business in various industries—the most exciting and challenging of all was a European restaurant in Hollywood, CA, at the age of 26, that sat 210 people. Other avenues brought him to the business worlds of the beauty/salon industry, import/export, garment industry, children’s vitamins, interior design, construction and real estate investing…Once he met his match, his wife and business partner forever after, Tami, a very successful design and construction firm was built. Dealing with celebrity and affluent clientele, the glamour was most exciting, yet the stress of small business took its toll.
